• Interests, languages, and personal dislikes

Trip & Chat Data

• Trip itineraries you generate, save, or modify
• Messages you send to the AI travel assistant
• Destinations, dates, and traveler counts

Usage & Device Data

• App interactions (screens viewed, features used)
• Device type, operating system version, and app version
• Crash reports and performance diagnostics

We do not use your data to train general-purpose AI models for third parties.

4 AI & Automated Processing

Wayfare Nova uses AI services to generate trip itineraries and power the travel chat assistant. Your travel preferences and chat messages are sent to AI inference APIs to produce personalized results.

We take care to minimize the personal data sent to AI services. Where possible, preferences are sent without directly identifying information. AI-generated content is a suggestion only — you are always in control of your final itinerary.

5 Data Retention

We retain your account and trip data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention records).

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen inside the App.

6 Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — update inaccurate or incomplete data via your profile settings
• Deletion — delete your account and all associated data directly in the App
• Portability — request an export of your data in a machine-readable format
• Opt-out of marketing — unsubscribe from any marketing emails via the link in those emails

7 Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS), secure password hashing, and access controls to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

8 Children's Privacy

Wayfare Nova is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Wayfare Nova operates globally. Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. We ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws through appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
